Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist for a locum role based in Hayes, working across schools in the surrounding boroughs. The position involves travel to schools and delivering specialist SALT assessments and interventions for children.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in Speech and Language Therapy, be HCPC registered, and have paediatric school-based experience. A driver with a vehicle is required to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy is required.
• HCPC registration is required.
• Experience with paediatric caseloads in educational settings.
• Must be a driver with access to a vehicle for school visits.
• Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, treatment and management of children with speech, language and communication needs.
• Deliver therapy sessions in schools across Hillingdon and surrounding boroughs.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional standards.
• Collaborate with school staff and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
