Job summary

Port Huron, Michigan, seeks a Board-Certified Radiation Oncology Physician for locum tenens coverage in an outpatient setting treating adult patients. Clinic hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with call coverage 4:00 PM to 7:30 AM, plus weekend duties to be determined.

Responsibilities include 3D radiotherapy, conventional radiotherapy, external beam therapy, 3D-CRT, IGRT, IMRT, SBRT, and SRS; imaging, treatment planning, and inpatient consultations as needed. 22 patients per day on average.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Radiation Oncology.
• Active Michigan medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive radiation oncology care.
• Perform 3D radiotherapy, conventional radiotherapy, and external beam radiation therapy.
• Utilize 3D-CRT, IGRT, IMRT, and fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy.
• Perform SBRT and SRS.
• Order appropriate diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe radiation therapy.
• Provide inpatient consultations and call coverage as needed.
