Qualifications

• Board certification in Radiation Oncology is required.
• Active license to practice medicine in Michigan is required.
• DEA registration is required for prescribing controlled substances.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive radiation oncology care to adult patients in outpatient settings.
• Perform 3D radiotherapy, conventional radiotherapy and external beam radiation therapy.
• Utilize 3D-CRT, IGRT, IMRT and fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy.
• Perform SBRT and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS).
• Order appropriate diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe radiation therapy.
• Provide inpatient consultations and call coverage as needed.

An opportunity is available for a Board-CertifiedRadiation Oncology Physician to provide locum tenens coverage at a 288-bedtertiary teaching facility in the Mt. Clemens area. The physician will providecomprehensive radiation oncology services to an adult patient population inprimarily outpatient settings.

Schedule & Coverage

• Monday–Friday, clinic and call coverage
• Clinic hours: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Call hours: 4:30 PM–8:00 AM
• Closed Saturday and Sunday; no weekendrequirements
• Macomb location: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
• Clarkston location: Tuesday and Thursday

Practice Details

• 288-bed tertiary teaching facility
• Patient population: 100% adult
• Patient setting: 95% outpatient / 5%inpatient
• Average volume: 25 patients per day

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive radiation oncologycare.
• Perform 3D radiotherapy, conventionalradiotherapy, and external beam radiation therapy.
• Utilize 3D-CRT, IGRT, IMRT, and fractionatedstereotactic radiotherapy.
• Perform stereotactic body radiation therapy(SBRT) and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS).

Requirements

• Board Certified in Radiation Oncology.
