Locum Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Akron, Ohio / Geriatric PMHNP

Provide meaningful psychiatric care to geriatric and dementia patients across Akron-area facilities. This locum assignment offers a predictable weekday schedule, and the freedom to focus on clinical decision-making rather than paperwork.

Why This Assignment

• Assignment Dates: 8-12 weeks minimum; approximately 60-day credentialing
• Schedule: Four weekdays rounding, approximately 7-9 a.m. to 3-5 p.m.; Friday half-day for documentation
• Pay: $120/hour
• Visit two facilities daily across 5-10 Akron-area locations
• Approximately 30 patient visits daily, focused on psychiatric medication management
• Treat geriatric behavioral health and dementia patients in post-acute and long-term care settings
• Dedicated care coordinator accompanies rounds, prepares charts, documents encounters, and coordinates follow-ups
• Two collaborating psychiatrists available remotely
• Travel: All expenses covered, including mileage between facilities

About You

• Be able to do the job as described.
