Job summary

Psychosocial Therapies seeks a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in the Canton/Akron, Ohio area providing psychiatric services in long-term care facilities. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, and monitor treatments while traveling locally.

The ideal candidate holds an Ohio APRN license (PMHNP or PA), is Board Certified in psychiatry, has psychiatric experience, and is comfortable with DEA requirements.

Qualifications

• Licensed as PMHNP or PA in Ohio with APRN license in good standing.
• Board Certified in psychiatry.
• Psychiatric experience required.
• Geriatric experience preferred.
• Active DEA registration.
• Ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop, implement and evaluate treatment plans.
• Provide psychiatric services in Canton and Akron long-term care facilities.
• Deliver high-quality care with integrity and commitment to residents.

Seeking full-time or part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistant in the Canton and Akron, Ohio area to provide rapid growth and quickly expanding psychiatric service obligations to residents in long term care facilities. This skilled professional must be able to work collaboratively with members of interdisciplinary treatment team to develop, implement or evaluate treatment plans. Minimum Job Requirements:

• Licensed nurse in the state of Ohio with Advance Practice Registered Nurse License in good standing.
• Hold a degree as a PMHNP - Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or PA at the level needed to assess and prescribe medication collaboratively with a psychiatrist as determined by the State Board of Nursing.
