Job summary

CompHealth seeks a locum plastic and reconstructive surgeon for assignments across U.S. facilities. Expect weekend on-call (Fri 7am–Mon 7am, 1–2 weekends monthly), inpatient care, and complex reconstructions of the face and limbs, including breast surgery.

We arrange housing, travel, malpractice coverage, credentialing simplification, and provide an online portal for assignment details and time entry.

Responsibilities

• 7 am - 7 am Friday through Monday, 1 - 2 weekends per month
• 10+ inpatient census -- primary and consults per weekend
• 2+ surgical cases per weekend
• Inpatient and emergency department patient care -- no outpatient clinic
• Complex facial trauma reconstruction -- adult and pediatric
• Complex upper extremity trauma reconstruction -- adult and pediatric
• Complex lower extremity soft tissue reconstruction -- adult and pediatric
• General plastic and reconstructive surgery including breast
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
• We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
