Qualifications

• Experience in trauma surgery coverage.
• Ability to perform laparoscopic procedures.
• Proficient in GI endoscopy and central line insertion.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma surgery coverage on 12-hour shifts (7 pm–7 am).
• Care for adult and neonate patients during assigned shifts.
• Support ongoing coverage and coordination for leave coverage.
• Coordinate with housing, travel arrangements, credentialing, and malpractice coverage provided by CompHealth.

Job description

• PM trauma shifts -- 7 pm - 7 am, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum 15 shifts per month -- guaranteed 12 hours per day
• Average 15 patients per shift
• Trauma surgery coverage with acute care surgery capability
• Adult and neonate populations -- pediatric not required
• Required: laparoscopic surgery, appendectomy, cholecystectomy
• Required: GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, central line insertion
• Ongoing coverage -- leave coverage basis
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
• We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
• We simplify the credentialing and privileging process
• Access to online portal for assignment details and time entry
