Job summary

CompHealth is seeking an in-patient call physician to cover inpatient shifts in a hospital setting. The role involves handling calls, managing patient load with expectant response times, and performing specified orthopedic procedures as required.

A strong background in ACLS/BLS is required and licensing in good standing is assumed. The recruiter team will support housing, travel arrangements, credentialing, and licensing, with weekly pay and comprehensive malpractice coverage.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Inpatient practice setting experience preferred.
• Call coverage role with rapid response expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide call coverage in an inpatient setting.
• Average 10 patients seen per shift and 5 phone consults.
• Perform arthroscopy and joint replacement procedures as needed.
• Spine surgery with and without instrumentation.
• Respond to calls within 30 minutes and coordinate patient care.
