Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a Psychiatry specialist for a on-site, full-time locum to perm assignment in Minnesota. You will work in both adult outpatient and inpatient units, with TMS and ECT services available on site.

Responsibilities include managing follow-ups, urgent assessments, and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team. Weekly pay, comprehensive malpractice coverage, and housing/travel arrangements are provided.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible psychiatry.
• Experience with adult outpatient and inpatient services.
• Experience with TMS/ECT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide adult psychiatry care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Participate in call coverage 2-3 nights per week.
• Support locum-to-perm transition.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team.

• Monday - Friday clinic hours, 7am - 4:30 pm with evening and weekend call
• Call: 2 - 3 nights per week and 1 - 2 weekends per month
• Up to 18 patients per day -- primarily follow-ups
• Both adult outpatient clinic and inpatient unit
• TMS and ECT services available on site
• Psychotic, personality, and organic disorders experience required
• Full-time coverage -- provider departure
• Locum to perm opportunity available
