Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare has an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Duluth, MN, for call coverage including inpatient and outpatient duties. The unit performs hip and hand procedures and tendon releases; arthroscopy and total joint replacement are not required.

You will work 15-hour night shifts with a roughly 2-patient census per shift, plus about 6 phone consults daily. Competitive compensation is offered with paid malpractice, and pre-paid travel and housing expenses.

Job description

• Call coverage -- 4 pm - 7 am shifts (15 hrs)
• Ongoing call coverage with dates extending into 2027
• Approx. 2 patients seen and 2 admissions per 24-hour shift
• Avg. ~6 phone consults per 24 hours
• Inpatient and outpatient call coverage required
• Hip procedures, hand procedures, and tendon release/repair required
• Arthroscopy and total joint replacement not required
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal
