Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking an orthopedic surgeon for 24-hour on-call coverage in Michigan. The position involves handling fractures, sports injuries, and general orthopaedics cases without spine cases, with a fast 20-minute call response time via beeper.

Arthroscopy and total joint replacement skills are required, including joint revision or repair for hip, knee, and shoulder. Travel and housing expenses are prepaid, and malpractice insurance is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24hr orthopedic surgery call coverage.
• See 1-2 patients per 24hr call shift.
• Perform arthroscopy and total joint replacement procedures.
• Assist with leave coverage.

Job description

• 24hr call shifts -- orthopedic surgery call coverage
• 1 - 2 patients seen per 24hr call shift
