Job summary

CompHealth is assisting with ophthalmology locum tenens positions in Illinois. The schedule is 4 days per week, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with a 1-hour lunch, seeing 40–50 patients daily in clinic.

The role covers full-spectrum med-surg ophthalmology including clinic, surgery, and on-call duties, with 7–8 cases on morning surgical blocks and two half-OR days per week. New hire coverage with temp-to-perm opportunities, housing and travel arranged, malpractice coverage provided, and credentialing

Responsibilities

• Full-scope med surg ophthalmology care in clinic, surgery, and call.
• Phaco w/ IOL, trabeculectomy, SLT, YAG, pterygium and related procedures.
• 7–8 cases on morning surgical blocks; two half OR days per week.
• Call: 7 days per month with provider-selected days.
• Credentialing, housing, travel, and malpractice coverage coordination.
