Job summary

CompHealth is seeking an ophthalmologist to join a Stevens Point, Wisconsin practice, providing outpatient and inpatient eye care with a focus on surgical and medical treatment.

The role involves LASER and retina procedures, imaging interpretation (OCT, fluorescein angiography), strabismus surgery, and a 30-minute call response, with housing and travel arrangements supported by CompHealth.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient ophthalmology care.

Job description

• Mon - Thu clinic: 8 am - 5 pm; 7-day on-call shifts starting Fridays
• Call: 0 - 2 patients seen per 24 hours; 0 - 3 phone consults per 24 hrs
• Outpatient and inpatient practice setting -- admissions required
• 30-minute call response time required
• Surgical and non-surgical procedures required -- including LASER
• Posterior segment, YAG, vitreoretinal, and intraocular injections required
• Strabismus surgery and anterior segment procedures required
• Ultrasound, fluorescein angiography, and OCT interpretation required
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
