Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks a Neurohospitalist for weekend coverage in a Texas inpatient stroke-certified facility. You will read EEGs independently and manage a busy service with 8–15 patients per day and 10+ phone consults per 24-hour shift.

In this assignment, you’ll handle 24-hour blocks, with pre-paid travel and housing, paid malpractice, and access to a Weatherby consultant 24/7. Experience in neurohospitalist roles is required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified neurologist with hospital-based neurohospitalist experience.
• Ability to read EEGs independently.
• Experience in an inpatient hospital setting, preferably in a stroke-certified facility.

Responsibilities

• Weekend coverage: Saturday - Monday or 7-day blocks with 24-hour shifts.
• Manage 8–15 patients per day with 10+ EEGs/phone consults per 24-hour shift.
• Provide neurohospitalist coverage in an inpatient stroke-certified facility.
