Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks a physician for a travel assignment in Georgia. Twelve-hour shifts with day and night call cover the ED, stroke program, and inpatient consults—no clinic. This is a call-only role (beeper).

The assignment includes radiologic exam interpretation, lumbar puncture, thrombolytic therapy, EEG/EMG/NCV and other neuro diagnostics, plus brain death exams and pain management/nerve blocks. Competitive compensation; paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing; 24-hour

Job description

• 12-hour shifts -- day and night call coverage
• Covers ED, stroke program, and inpatient consults -- no clinic
• Call only -- beeper call type
• Hospital is not stroke certified
• Radiologic exam interpretation, lumbar puncture, thrombolytic therapy
• EEG, EMG, NCV, evoked potentials, and nerve/muscle biopsies preferred
• Brain death exams and pain management procedures preferred
• Botox and peripheral/spinal nerve blocks preferred
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal
