Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a locum physician in California to cover a 3-6 month assignment. You will treat adult patients (ages 18+) with standard office visits and physicals, while handling in basket management and clinical notes.

Hospital privileges are required. Housing and travel are arranged, comprehensive malpractice coverage is provided, and our dedicated recruiter handles every detail to keep you focused on patient care.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and active license to practice medicine in California.
• Experience with adult patient care and routine office visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide standard office visits and physicals for adult patients.
• Manage in-basket and document clinical notes efficiently.
• Coordinate credentialing, housing, travel, and other onboarding tasks for assignments.

• Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with 1 hour lunch
• Average 16 patients per day
