Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a locum tenens provider for outpatient clinic coverage in Texas. The role focuses on adult patients, with a majority aged 65+, and requires wound care, splinting, and infection management. You will interpret X-ray, EKG, and labs to guide patient care.

The assignment runs Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with no on-call duties. Housing and travel arrangements are provided, along with comprehensive malpractice coverage and streamlined credentialing.

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient clinic settings.
• Ability to manage wound care, splinting, infection management.
• Competence in ordering/interpreting X-ray, EKG, labs.
• Hospital privileges required.
• Leave coverage for 3 to 4 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care to adult patients, majority 65+.
• Manage wound care, splinting, and infection management.
• Interpret X-ray, EKG and lab results to guide care.
• Coordinate care during the leave coverage period.
• Standard schedule Mon–Fri, 8 am–5 pm, with no on-call requirements.
