Ideal candidates have experience with trauma surgery, chest tubes, central lines, PA catheters, ventilation management, and sigmoidoscopy.

Responsibilities

• Beeper call with 30-minute response time daily.
• Avg. 5 patients per shift; 4 phone consults and 3 admissions per day.
• Inpatient and outpatient rounding required.
• Laparoscopic surgery required — appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty.
• Trauma surgery, chest tube, central line, and PA catheter skills required.
• Ventilation management and sigmoidoscopy required.
