Qualifications

• MD/DO board-certified surgeons with appropriate licensure.
• Experience in urgent and trauma general surgery settings preferred.
• Proficiency in laparoscopic procedures and GI endoscopy beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient general surgery and trauma care; ER coverage.
• Perform laparoscopic and open surgical procedures including cholecystectomy and hernioplasty.
• Coordinate with credentialing team and facility for smooth assignment start.

• Friday - Saturday, 7 am - 7 am -- 48-hour shift
• ~20 patients seen per 24 hours
• Call only -- inpatient consults and emergency room coverage
• Adult general surgery and trauma patients
• Laparoscopic surgery required -- appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty
• GI endoscopy required -- upper, lower, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy
• Vascular surgery skills required -- aneurysm repairs, arterial bypass
• Chest tube and central line insertion required
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
• We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
• We simplify the credentialing and privileging process
• Access to online portal for assignment details and time entry
• Your specialized recruiter takes care of every detail
