Job summary

CompHealth is assisting with a locum tenens opportunity for a General Surgeon in Chinle, Arizona. The role involves performing colonoscopy and EGD with pediatric cases and a mix of GI procedures in a government facility setting.

The candidate should have strong GI anatomy knowledge and scope proficiency, with ASGE or ABS endoscopy training preferred. Experience with circumcision is a plus but not mandatory; start dates are soon and the schedule is Mon–Fri, 7 am–3:30 pm with a half-hour lunch

Qualifications

• Colonoscopy and EGD required; GI anatomy and scope proficiency needed.
• ASGE or ABS flexible endoscopy curriculum training strongly preferred.
• Pediatric general surgery experience for patients 1 year and up.
• Circumcision experience preferred but not required.
