CompHealth is recruiting a Gastroenterology hospitalist for inpatient coverage in Spokane, Washington. Join our team to provide bedside GI care, perform advanced endoscopic procedures, and collaborate with hospital staff to ensure seamless patient flow.

Typical shifts are days with weekday coverage; opportunities include endoscopy, ERCP, colonoscopy, and biopsy work, with travel and credentialing handled by CompHealth.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Gastroenterology.
• Experience with ERCP and GI endoscopy is required.
• Inpatient GI hospitalist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform upper GI endoscopy with biopsy and foreign body removal.
• Provide ERCP diagnostic and esophageal dilatation services.
• Perform lower GI endoscopy and colonoscopy with polyp excision.
• Inpatient hospitalist duties and collaborative patient care.

• Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm with 8 hour shifts
• Approximately 5 patients per shift
• Coverage between Sacred Heart and Holy Family hospitals
• Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy and foreign body removal required
• ERCP diagnostic and esophageal dilatation skills needed
• Lower GI endoscopy and colonoscopy with polyp excision required
• Gastro hospitalist role with inpatient focus
