Job summary

CompHealth in Wisconsin is seeking a gastroenterologist locum to support outpatient and inpatient services with a focus on GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy.

The role features weekday hours from 7 am to 5 pm, plus on-call nights two days per week and some weekends. We arrange complimentary housing and travel and provide comprehensive malpractice coverage, with streamlined credentialing handled by your recruiter.

Qualifications

• Perform outpatient and inpatient GI procedures including endoscopy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct upper and lower GI endoscopy, colonoscopy and sigmoidoscopy.
• Manage outpatient and inpatient GI consults and procedural care.
• Coordinate credentialing and privileging processes with support from CompHealth.
• Work within the block schedule: Mon–Fri, 7 am–5 pm, with on-call nights and weekends.

• Mon - Fri, 7 am - 5 pm; on-call nights 2 days/week and weekends
• Outpatient: 10 - 15 ppd; inpatient: 3 - 5 ppd; 10 - 15 procedures/day
• Outpatient clinic -- 1 day/week; 4 endoscopy days per week
• Upper and lower GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy required
• Preferred: ERCP, PEG, esophageal dilatation, and variceal injection
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
