Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum gastroenterologist for a Maine facility in Bangor, ME. This assignment covers outpatient and inpatient practice with a high volume of endoscopic procedures.

You will perform upper and lower GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and liver biopsy; PEG, esophageal dilatation, banding, and push enteroscopy; and Sengstaken/Blakemore tube management. Call schedule 1/8 with 30-minute response. Ongoing assignment with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience performing upper and lower GI endoscopy and liver biopsy.
• Exposure to PEG, esophageal dilatation, banding, and push enteroscopy.
• Sengstaken/Blakemore tube insertion and management required.
