Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a physician for locum tenens assignments in Bangor, ME. The position covers both outpatient and inpatient settings, with a workload of 12 patients per shift and a call ratio of 1/8 with a 30-minute response time.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing assignment in outpatient and inpatient practice settings.
• Manage 12 patients per shift.
• Call: 1/8 ratio with a 30-minute response time, beeper call.
• Call volume: 8–12 patients seen per 24-hour period.
• Perform upper and lower GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and liver biopsy.
• Conduct PEG, esophageal dilatation, banding, and push enteroscopy.
• Sengstaken/Blakemore tube insertion and management.
• Hospital privileges required.
