Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks locum tenens opportunities in Virginia (Farmville) with a flexible mix of procedures in the morning AM block and clinic in the afternoon, plus night call on Monday and Wednesday. The role includes a mix of colonoscopy and EGD, with ERCP preferred but not required, and a monthly commitment is encouraged.

Weatherby covers malpractice, travel, and housing expenses, with 24-hour consultant access. Assignments are compensated competitively.

Job description

If you are seeking a new opportunity or would simply like to learn more about locum tenens,

• Main schedule M, T, TH, F -- procedures AM and clinic PM
• Wednesday is procedures only
• Night call -- Monday and Wednesday nights only
• 9 procedures in the AM -- mix of colonoscopy and EGD
• Wednesday schedule -- 12 or so procedures
• 3 - 5 clinic patients in the afternoon
• ERCP preferred but not required -- no EUS needed
• At least 1 week per month commitment preferred
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal
