Job summary

CompHealth is assisting with a locum tenens Family Practice physician opportunity in Wiscasset, Maine. The outpatient clinic serves all ages, with on-site hours Mon–Fri 8 am–5 pm and a Saturday half-day when on call. Weekend and weeknight call is 1 in 14, with coverage of 5 pm Fri to 7 am Mon.

Our recruiters coordinate housing, travel, credentialing, licensing, and comprehensive malpractice coverage, enabling you to focus on patient care during the assignment.

Qualifications

• Outpatient Family Medicine with full-scope care across age groups.
• Procedural skills including minor procedures as needed.
• Chronic and acute condition management in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive family medicine care in an outpatient clinic.
• Perform annual physicals and routine procedures.
• Manage chronic and acute conditions with appropriate follow-up.
