CompHealth offers varied locum assignments for cardiology specialists, from day-long to multi-year engagements. Typical shifts include 24-hour coverage with rounding from 8 am to 5 pm and overnight calls.

Assignments cover inpatient cardiology with ICU needs, including non-invasive, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, STEMI management, and echo/EKG interpretation. Housing, travel and malpractice coverage are arranged, with weekly pay and streamlined credentialing.

Qualifications

• Inpatient cardiology experience preferred.
• Expertise in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology required.
• Ability to manage STEMI and interpret echo/EKG.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour shifts with 8 am rounding to 5 pm and overnight call.
• Rounding on inpatient cardiology patients with ICU coverage.
• Support during rounding hours (APC support).
• Perform non-invasive cardiology procedures and imaging as needed.

• 24-hour shifts -- 8 am rounding to 5 pm, then overnight call
