Job summary

CompHealth is seeking locum cardiology physicians for inpatient assignments across the US. Shifts can include 24-hour rounds, with alternating weeks of coverage and call. You will round on unassigned inpatient cardiology patients and provide critical STEMI management and imaging interpretation.

We provide housing and travel arrangements, comprehensive malpractice coverage, and a streamlined credentialing process to support your practice.

Qualifications

• Board certification in cardiology or LOCUM equivalent.
• Current US medical license and cardiology privileges.
• Experience in inpatient cardiology with ICU coverage.

Responsibilities

• Rounding on inpatients in cardiology ICU settings.
• STEMI management and interpretation of echo/EKG.
• Non-invasive cardiology duties including echocardiography and nuclear studies.

Job description

• 24-hour shifts -- 8 am rounding to 5 pm, then overnight call
• Locums coverage every other week, 2 weeks per month
• Rounding on unassigned inpatient cardiology patients
• APC support during rounding hours
• Inpatient cardiology setting with ICU coverage required
• Non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology required
• STEMI management and echo/EKG interpretation required
• TEE and diagnostic invasive cardiology preferred
