Fort Yates Hospital in Fort Yates, ND seeks a licensed Pharmacist for a contract/locum tenens assignment at the Standing Rock Indian Health Service. You will support pharmacy operations at Fort Yates Hospital and McLaughlin IHS Clinic, working independently within your scope of practice to ensure safe, effective pharmaceutical care for beneficiaries.

The role is 40 hours/week with potential overtime, starts 09/07/2026 and runs through 12/07/2026 (13 weeks).

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in the United States without restrictions.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• TB screening documentation must be available.
• MMR immunity documentation is required.
• COVID-19 vaccination documentation or approved exemption.
• Not listed on OIG list of exclusions.

Responsabilités

• Review and manage medication-related activities per pharmacy procedures.
• Support safe dispensing practices and medication safety initiatives.
• Provide clinical pharmacy support: reconciliation, counseling, monitoring, and drug information.
• Document patient care in the electronic health record (EHR) accurately.
• Identify and report medication safety concerns and errors promptly.
• Participate in quality improvements and team meetings.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, IHS policies, and facility procedures.
