Palm Health Resources is actively recruiting a Locum Pediatric Anesthesiologist for a high-acuity, hospital-based opportunity in Dayton, OH. This role offers a predictable weekday schedule with no call and strong pediatric case exposure in a well-supported environment.

The assignment runs August 2026 through mid-November (~3 months) with potential to extend. Monday–Friday, 7:00a–3:30p in a hospital-based OR setting, for approximately 50–60 cases/day across the department.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
• Active Ohio license (or ability to obtain).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required.
• Comfortable with neonatal and pediatric cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum pediatric anesthesia for neonatal to adolescent patients.
• Supervise CRNAs in a collaborative care team.
• Avoid cardiac and transplant cases as per scope.
• Work in a Level I pediatric trauma setting with strong OR support.

Assignment Overview

Clinical Scope

• Full-spectrum pediatric anesthesia (neonatal → adolescent, with some adult exposure)

  • Hands-on cases
  • Supervising CRNAs in a care team model
