Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a qualified pediatric anesthesiologist for a full-scope assignment. The case mix includes neonates under 30 days and a pediatric cardiac service line available. Weeknight and weekend coverage is required, with a 1-week-per-month commitment for 12 months.

Travel and housing are prepaid, and malpractice insurance is provided. Hospital privileges are required, with 24/7 access to a Weatherby consultant.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope pediatric anesthesia, including neonates.
• Cover weeknight, weekend, and on-call shifts as scheduled.
• Collaborate on pediatric cardiac service line when available.

Job description

• Mon - Thu 7 am - 5 pm; Fri 8 am - 6 pm (10-hour days)
• Weeknight in-house call 3 pm - 7 am; weekend 12 & 24-hour shifts
• 13,500 - 14,000 cases per year; 19,000 anesthetics annually
• Full scope pediatric anesthesia -- includes neonates under 30 days
• Pediatric cardiac service line available
• No transplants
• Hospital privileges required
• 1 week per month commitment; 1-year commitment required
