Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a pediatric anesthesia specialist to cover full-scope cases, including neonates under 30 days, with a pediatric cardiac service line available. Expect a 1-year commitment with a monthly schedule, and 24-hour access to Weatherby consultants to assist with housing and travel logistics.

Responsibilities

• Take in-house call during weeknights and weekends as specified.
• Manage patient caseload and participate in pediatric anesthesia procedures.
• Coordinate with hospital staff through online portal for time entry and assignments.

Job description

• Mon - Thu 7 am - 5 pm; Fri 8 am - 6 pm (10-hour days)
• Weeknight in-house call 3 pm - 7 am; weekend 12 & 24-hour shifts
• 13,500 - 14,000 cases per year; 19,000 anesthetics annually
• Full scope pediatric anesthesia -- includes neonates under 30 days
