Position Overview: Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA Only)

• Coverage Duration: Immediate; 6-month engagement with the possibility of extension.
• Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic exclusively.
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Daily Duties: Manage a diverse orthopedic patient population, including total joint cases.

Responsibilities encompass initial consultations for new patients, treatment of fractures, post-operative follow-ups, and administration of injections.

• Call Requirements: No on-call duties.
• Patient Volume: Anticipated caseload of 19-21 patients daily.
• Electronic Medical Record System: EPIC.

Credentialing Information

• Timeframe: Approximately 60-90 days from application submission.
• Certifications Required: Board Certification, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as recognized by the American Hospital Association.
