Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a Physician Assistant for cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery in Chapel Hill, NC as a locum tenens assignment lasting 13 weeks. The PA will serve as OR first and second assistant for EVH and CABG cases, with a team-based approach seeing 6–8 patients daily.

Night call is 5–6 nights per month and weekend emergency surgery calls only, with no rounding or consults. Benefits include health, vision, dental, 401(k), housing and transportation support.

Qualifications

• Experience with EVH and CABG procedures is preferred.
• RNFA certification is required if experience began after 2016.

Responsibilities

• O.R. first assist and second assist for EVH and CABG procedures.
• Team-based care with 6–8 patients per day.
