Job summary

CompHealth locums assignment in Rhode Island seeks an experienced hematology/oncology physician for inpatient care, including acute leukemia and chemo patients. Responsibilities include post-autologous stem cell transplant and post-CAR-T patient care, with bone marrow biopsies required.

Weekly on-call rotates with a 9-hour day shift, and Radiology oncology services are available on site. A recruiter manages credentialing, provides weekly pay, and arranges complimentary housing and travel.

Qualifications

• Mon - Fri, 8 am - 5 pm -- 9hr shift with 1hr lunch
• 1:4 weekly hospital call -- Friday 0730 to Friday 0730
• 15 patients per shift
• Inpatient hematology/oncology -- acute leukemia and chemo patients
• Post Autologous Stem Cell Transplant and post CAR-T patient care
• Bone marrow biopsies required
• Hematology/oncology trained required -- not medical oncology only
• Radiation oncology services available on site
