Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist for a 24-hour shift locum assignment in the Richmond, Virginia area. The role spans inpatient and clinic settings with a 1:4 call schedule and requires prescriptive authority.

The facility features a Level III NICU and focuses on high-quality obstetric and gynecologic care, including management of high-risk pregnancies and complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Manage low and high-risk pregnancies.
• Perform fetal heart rate interpretation including NST/CST/FSE.
• Conduct Level I obstetric ultrasounds for viability assessment.
• Perform routine and complicated deliveries, cesarean sections, VBAC management.
• Repair of third and fourth degree lacerations.
• Perform minor gynecologic procedures such as IUD placement, cystoscopy, colposcopy, and LEEP.
• Perform laparoscopic diagnostic and surgical procedures including tubal ligations and ovarian surgery.
