Job summary

IMP Locum Tenens, LLC is seeking a Locum Tenens OB/GYN to cover Labor & Delivery in Christiansburg, VA. The assignment includes 24-hour in-house call shifts, with 4–8 shifts per month and up to 8 shifts per month as needed, starting October 26, 2026 and ending approximately April 2027.

The role focuses on OB services on Labor & Delivery, obstetric emergencies, minor gynecologic procedures, and supervision of residents in a busy practice averaging 70–75 deliveries per month.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics/Gynecology; Board Certification preferred.
• Active Virginia medical license required; DEA required.

Responsibilities

• Provide all OB services on Labor & Delivery.
• Provide unassigned OB/GYN call coverage.
• Manage obstetric and gynecologic emergencies.
• Perform minor gynecologic surgical procedures.
• Manage residents.
• Support a busy practice averaging 70–75 deliveries and 20–25 non-obstetrical surgeries per month.
