Job summary

77 Consultants is seeking an obstetrician-gynecologist to provide hospital coverage in Virginia. The role requires 24-hour on-call shifts (7 AM–7 AM) with daily clinic activity, and participation in labor and delivery with a team of surgeons and nurses.

Most high-risk cases are managed by Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists, with the Laborist handling deliveries and rounding. Candidates must have Board Certification, ABOG, BLS, and Virginia licensure, plus active Virginia DEA/CSR.

Qualifications

• Board Certification is mandatory.
• Active Virginia DEA and CSR required.
• Virginia Medical License required.
• ABOG and BLS Certification required.
• Must be available for the specified coverage dates.
• Candidates must provide procedure logs showing at least 50 deliveries with 15 C-sections in the past 12 months.
• Self-query NPBD report required at application time.
• Clean background essential for temporary credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric on-call coverage 24 hours (7 AM–7 AM) with clinic duties.
• Perform cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries as needed.
• Manage high-volume obstetric cases with Maternal-Fetal Medicine as needed.
• Coordinate with OB hospitalists, surgical staff, and nursing team.
• Document care in EPIC EMR and participate in rounds.
