Job summary

77 consultants seeks a Board Certified APRN or PA to join our trauma services in Illinois. The role requires ACLS/BLS, active Illinois license, and recent Level I Trauma Center experience to support inpatient rounding on a Monday–Friday schedule with weekend rounding once monthly.

Job description

SCHEDULE: The work schedule is structured for Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:30, with an additional commitment for one weekend of in‑house rounding per month.

PATIENT POPULATION MIX: The clinical setting serves a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, with coverage for Medicare and Medicaid patients.

AVERAGE CASELOAD: Expect to manage approximately 12-15 inpatient cases per day during rounding.

SUPPORT STAFF: Registered Nurses (RNs) will assist with discharge communication from the clinic, with additional hospital RN support as needed.

SHIFT DESCRIPTION: This position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 07:00 to 15:30.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must possess ACLS and BLS certifications.

PATIENT POPULATION MIX: Experience with various demographics, including a focus on adolescents, adults, geriatrics, Medicare, and Medicaid, is essential.

STATE LICENSURE REQUIREMENT: Candidates must hold an active Illinois state license.

MANDATED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Board Certified Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – either Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
• Recent experience in a Level I Trauma Center is required.
• Candidates must already be actively licensed in Illinois.
