Job summary

Aya Locums in Vidalia, GA seeks an experienced locum Interventional Cardiology Physician for a 13-week assignment starting 11-13-26. This on-call, 24-hour shift covers acute care cases.

Responsibilities include PCI, angioplasty, stenting, catheterizations, evaluating cardiovascular patients, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must be board-certified in cardiology with interventional fellowship, Georgia license, and be comfortable with high-pressure environments.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and board-certified in cardiology.
• Fellowship training in interventional cardiology with active license in GA.
• Experience in high-volume cath lab settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures (angioplasty, stenting, catheterizations).
• Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan patient care.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatments as needed.
• Address acute cardiovascular emergencies and complications.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
