Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Interventional Cardiology physician in Cottonwood, AZ.

The assignment runs 13 weeks with standard 5 days and 10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:30. Start date is 01-25-27, no call needed, in an acute care hospital environment.

Responsibilities include performing angioplasty, stenting, catheterizations, and delivering comprehensive cardiovascular care while coordinating with the team and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in internal medicine (ACGME or AOA).
• Fellowship in cardiology with interventional training.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures (angioplasty, stenting, catheterizations).
• Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of cardiovascular patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan patient care.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies.
• Monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Address acute cardiovascular emergencies and document care.
