Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking an experienced interventional cardiologist for an inpatient assignment in Kentucky. The physician will provide inpatient cardiac care, including cardiac catheterizations, cardioversions, TEE/TTE, and TAVR/Watchman procedures, with 12 hours on-site and 24-hour call.

The assignment supports 24-hour call responsibilities and uses EPIC EMR for patient documentation, with a team of 4 RNs, 9 NPs, 12 office staff, and 20 MAs.

Qualifications

• Board certification in cardiology required.
• Experience with interventional cardiology procedures (TAVR/Watchman) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient cardiac care including catheterizations, cardioversions, TEE/TTE.
• On-site presence 12 hours per day with 24-hour call responsibilities.
• Documentation in EPIC EMR system.
