Job summary

Aya Locums is seeking a locum General Dentist in Macedonia, OH to cover a short-term assignment at an Out-Patient Clinic. The role requires performing a broad range of general dentistry procedures with a focus on patient care and safety.

The assignment is temporary (2 weeks) with a standard 9-hour shift from 07:00 to 17:00, scheduled coverage and no on-call duties. Competitive hourly pay and physician-friendly support are provided.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Active Ohio dental license.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and diagnose dental conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crown and bridge work.
• Provide preventive dental care, such as cleanings and oral hygiene education.
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants and other dental professionals.
• Maintain accurate and complete dental records.
