Job summary

Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum General Dentist in Crestview Hills, KY. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with a standard 5-day, 8-hour schedule, from 08:00 to 17:00, and no on-call requirements.

Responsibilities include comprehensive exams, treatment planning, fillings, extractions, root canals, and crown and bridge work, along with preventive care and patient education. Kentucky license and BLS are required; travel and housing support provided.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Active Kentucky dental license.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1 year of dental practice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and diagnose dental conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Perform fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns and bridges.
• Provide preventive dental care and patient education.
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed.
• Collaborate with hygienists and dental assistants.
• Maintain accurate dental records.
