Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a locum dentist to provide high-quality patient care and lead a dental team. You will diagnose, plan treatments, and educate patients while maintaining thorough records.

Position offers travel reimbursement, flexible scheduling, and a 3-month contract beginning January 2027, with potential extension across multiple states. DDS/DMD with active license and CPR required; sponsorship available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited school required.
• Active state dental license, CPR certification, and DEA license required (or in process).
• Controlled Substance License required if state law calls for it.
• Legally authorized to work in the US; sponsorship available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough dental examinations and diagnose oral health issues; develop tailored treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment maintenance.
• Lead dental team including assistants and hygienists to ensure smooth patient care and coordination.
• Maintain accurate patient records with treatment plans, procedures, and progress.
• Stay updated on dentistry advancements; attend seminars and pursue ongoing education.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards; ensure patient confidentiality.

Schedule (days/hours)

Monday thru Thursday ; Beginning end of January 2027 for 3 months

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough dental examinations, diagnose oral health issues, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment maintenance to promote long-term oral health.
• Lead your team, dental assistants, hygienists, and other staff members to ensure smooth patient care and treatment coordination.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, procedures performed, and patient progress.
• Stay updated on advancements in dentistry, attend seminars, and pursue ongoing education to provide the latest and best treatments.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards, following regulatory guidelines and ensuring patient confidentiality.

Compensation

$850-$950 per day
