Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a licensed dentist for a locum position in Ohio. You’ll have autonomy to manage patient care, with travel expenses covered and a schedule that fits your lifestyle.

The role offers flexibility through short and long term contracts across 30 states, collaboration with a diverse team, ongoing education, and access to a wide network of affiliated practices.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited school.
• Active state dental license, CPR Certification, and DEA License (or in process of obtaining )
• Controlled Substance License (if required by the state)
• Legally authorized to work in the US. Sponsorship available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough dental examinations, diagnose oral health issues, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment maintenance to promote long-term oral health.
• Lead your team, dental assistants, hygienists, and other staff members to ensure smooth patient care and treatment coordination.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, procedures performed, and patient progress.
• Stay updated on advancements in dentistry, attend seminars, and pursue ongoing education to provide the latest and best treatments.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards, following regulatory guidelines and ensuring patient confidentiality.

Schedule (days/hours)

Monday- Wednesday 8am to 6pm Thurday 8am to 2pm
