Job summary

Smile Brands invites a locum dentist to deliver high-quality patient care with autonomy over a flexible schedule. Mon 7-5, Tue 7-6, you’ll oversee a dental team, manage treatment plans, and ensure accurate records across our network.

Eligible candidates hold a DDS/DMD, active US license, CPR, and a DEA license. We offer sponsorship for qualified applicants and a comprehensive benefits package. Salary is $1,000/day with travel support provided.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited school.
• Active state dental license, CPR Certification, and DEA License (or in process of obtaining ).
• Controlled Substance License (if required by the state).
• Legally authorized to work in the US. Sponsorship available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough dental examinations, diagnose oral health issues, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment maintenance to promote long-term oral health.
• Lead your team, dental assistants, hygienists, and other staff members to ensure smooth patient care and treatment coordination.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, procedures performed, and patient progress.
• Stay updated on advancements in dentistry, attend seminars, and pursue ongoing education to provide the latest and best treatments.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards, following regulatory guidelines and ensuring patient confidentiality.
