Job summary

Global Medical Staffing is seeking a gastroenterologist for a Dallas, Texas assignment. The role features 7‑day call coverage from 7 am to 7 am, with inpatient and ED consults, transfers, and beeper‑based responses within 30 minutes.

Procedures include upper GI endoscopy with biopsy and therapies, ERCP, colonoscopy with biopsy, liver biopsy and PEG placement, with admissions required for the inpatient setting. Travel, housing, and malpractice coverage are provided.

Responsibilities

• 7‑day call coverage from 7 am to 7 am
• Inpatient consults, ED consults, and transfers
• Call only beeper‑based coverage with 30‑minute response time
• Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy and therapeutic procedures
• ERCP diagnostic and therapeutic procedures required
• Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision
• Liver biopsy and PEG placement procedures
• Admissions required for inpatient practice setting
