Job summary

Adelphi Locums is seeking a Board-eligible or -certified Emergency Medicine physician for a locum Tenens position in Longview, Texas. The assignment runs from Oct 17, 2026, ongoing, with coverage including travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance. Epic EMR with Abridge AI Note is used for documentation.

The ideal candidate will manage a Level III trauma ED with 12 beds and see about 23 patients daily, performing moderate and deep sedation as required. Start date is ASAP.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABMS/AOA).
• Active Texas medical license.
• Active DEA with Texas address and schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4,5.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to ED patients.
• Perform emergency procedures including moderate and deep sedation.
• Collaborate with NP/PA staff and other healthcare providers.
• Manage patient care in a Level III trauma center with 12 ED beds.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation using Epic EMR.
