Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing seeks a Board-eligible/Board-certified Emergency Medicine physician to join a Level III ED in Longview, Texas for Locum Tenens coverage.

Requirements include active Texas license, active DEA, ACLS and ATLS, and ED experience with moderate and deep sedation. Epic EMR with Abridge AI Note is used; NP/PA support is available. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided. Coverage period: Oct 17, 2026 – ongoing.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Emergency Medicine (ABMS/AOA).
• Active Texas medical license required.
• Active DEA license with Texas address.
• ACLS and ATLS certifications required.
• Experience with ED procedures and Level III trauma center is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to ED patients.
• Perform emergency procedures including moderate and deep sedation.
• Collaborate with NP/PA staff and other healthcare providers.
• Manage patient care in a Level III trauma center with 12 ED beds.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation using Epic EMR.
